It just had to happen... all the irritating stuff...

Had A Bad Day!

Just feel so dead, grumpy, annoyed and kept nagging and complaining.

After being happy for so long, its now going down the slope.

Don't really want to talk about it.

Reading the Bible and talking it out to Clement made me feel better.
Thanks Clement for listening to all my complains, you are really a good listener and brother :)
And Thank You God for being with me.

ANZAC Day

ANZAC Day

Woke up at 4.15am took a nice cold shower to wake myself up and put on a sweater, left the house at 4.40am. My house mate, Kor Kor Toon and I were going to ANZAC Day (Australia and New Zealand Army Corps). Kor Kor Toon came and picked us up, and off we were to ANZAC Day's Dawn Service held at King's Park. ANZAC Day is a memorial service that is held in the whole of Australia, from Tas, Qld, Vic and WA. ANZAC Day is where they will remember all the soldiers that fought during World War 1 at Gallipoli Turkey. They had 2 mins of silents, laying of wreaths, Fly By and speeches. We stood there for around one and a half hours at King's Park, listening to all the history of the war. It was such a memorable service, to see how the Aussies embraces their history and respects the man and woman who died. Emotions were in the air when they did the 2 mins of silents. The number of people that turned up was so amazing, whether its in their army uniforms or just casual. But I was freezing up there. Watching the sunrise above Perth's skyline was just Great. The service ended around 6.30am. After the service we just decided to just walk around King's Park and just enjoy nature before going for a nice hot Bacon Mac muffin at Macdonald. Yumm.

I wonder why Singapore don't really have this type of service for the man and woman who died in the wars. They really take it seriously here.



After a nice Mac Breakfast we went to Kor Kor Toon's house to just take a rest before going to a Chocolate Factory. And guess what, while driving up to Kor Kor Toon's house; we saw DOLPHINS AGAIN. This time they were really close, but we could not stop because there were cars at our back. That really made my day. haha. At the Chocolate Factory, you can taste all the different types of chocolates they had for free.

After the Chocolate Factory we went for a Bible Study picnic at Burswood Park. We had cottage pie, pizza, KFC and many more. Bible Study beside the river, under the shady tree was the best way to enjoy nature. And we celebrated Kor Kor Toon's Birthday. We did a surprise for him, it was suppose to be just the my Bible Study group, but planed for the South Perth Church friends to come and surprised him with a "marble cake" haha. He was really surprised. haha. We had so much fun, playing captains ball and just drinking and eating. But every good thing has to end soon. Me and my house mate had to go back for dinner by 6pm and it was 5pm already.Kor Kor Toon had to have a lonely nights dinner :(

But it was a GREAT FUN DAY TODAY :)

Haha forgot to write about last weekends,

Saturday, went down to Mandurah with Big brother Toon to eat Fish & Chips. It was so much fun just driving down Mandurah, talked about our week and stuff like that, about our life, family and friends back in Singapore. Reaching Mandurah we went to Cicerella's for Fish & Chips and sat on a grassy patch facing the river. The sea gulls are so cheeky, stare at your food waiting for you to leave. haha. But that day it was rather cold. But it was just so FUN! Thanks Big Brother Toon for bring me down.

After we came back from Mandurah, we went to Ben's house to help clean it up, because the next day we will be going down for dinner and watch So You Think You Can Dance. haha

Sunday, went to the 10.30am service in the cold chilling morning. What a good service it was. Pastor John Bond talked about " Being A More Loving Person!" and they showed this really really good skit. After the service we went for Tim Sum, yum. But before Tim Sum and had to do something really importen, Wish Claudia Happy Birthday. "Miss You So Much" During lunch I talked to Ry, this big guy who studied zoology. It was so great to have someone who knows about animals too. After lunch we went to play basketball. haha after how many years, I finally played basketball again. haha. And we played for quite sometime. But we had to go early because Ben and I had to cook dinner for the gang. ( Big sister Ming Ghee, Christina, Lemuel, Hywell, Big brother Toon, Rachel, Ben Caroline) Most of the food that we cooked were all meaty, haha. But it was fun to cook after such along time. Watched the semi finals of So You Think You Can Dance, Australia. When the show ended, we went to the airport to send Vandana off to PNG (Papua New Guinea) for mission trip. She will be gone for 2 weeks. Have a great 2 weeks in Papua New Guinea.

4 things that tells me that Autumn is here.

-The weather is getting Cold, drops to 9 degrees (nite)

First week of holidays has so far been rather fun. Just hanging out with big brother Toon and Ben and some of the OCFs. And this week and just started to read books. On,

Monday, I just stayed home and clean up my marine tank. It was rather filthy with yack's and slime haha.

Tuesday, Went for a hair cut that cost me a whopping A$25, day light robbing. Than walked to my cousin's house for dinner, Dome pizza, and off we went to the movies. We watched Prom Night. Triller murder show.

Wednesday, Stayed home the hold day till prayer meeting in the night at Lemuel's house. It was just a small group of us, just chatting about our day and stuff like that.

Thursday, went for breakfast at Jester's Pie, I know Lemuel dreads that. haha, but it was the only breakfast area to eat. And it was my first time eating Jester's. Ben, Lemuel, Rachel and I went to BTC book sale. Where all the books were from A$1-A$10, so cheap. And I bought 8 books for A$8, haha. 1 animal book, 2 Christian relationship book, 4 daily Christian living book and 1 book on a girl who said yes. I'll tell u more on that book soon. SO PLEASE MUM, DON"T BUY ANY MORE BOOKS. After spending 4 hours there, we sent Lemuel home and Ben and Rachel followed me to a gym that I wanted to join. But in the end I didn't, Thanks for following me Ben and Rachel. The gym fees was A$15 per week. Poor Ben, had to work later, and he only ate maggi mee for his dinner.

Friday, in the morning Big brother Toon sms me and asked me if I wanted to go out for lunch, I said yes of course. We went out for tim sum with met Ben and a guest from OCF Adelaide, Handy. Pastor Henry, you should remember him, he went to Serve and met you before. After tim sum we went back to the BTC book sale again, hehe, where I bought another book. haha. After the book sale, we drove up in Big brother Toon's car to Hillary's Boat Harbor for nice cup of ICE COFFEE by the beach. Typical Aussie life style, haha. Than we were just looking at yatch, and just dream that we could have one. haha, keep dreaming. We spent quite some time there tho. Had to rush home, eat dinner and go back out to OCF. haha. But I really had lots of fun just talking to Ben, Handy, and Big brother Toon.

Saturday and Sunday is yet to come, hehe

BTW I just started to read the book of Matthew, please pray that I'll be diligent in reading God's word. And Pastor Henry how's your knee?

After a long day of bird handling, aviary cleaning and roster. Finally went home for a nice nap before dinner and OCF. But some how the day was really chilling and the night was freezing, haha. Today in OCF we talked about the validity of the Bible, well the sermon was quite long but good, but some how I don't think my house mate who is a non Christian understands. But I guess it takes time. After OCF we chat a little before going off to supper at Mac. Walking to the car was really freezing, and I was wearing shorts, thin shirt and slippers, + I'm skinny, haha. Rushed into Mac and ordered HOT FRESH APPLE PIE...mmm and a cup of cold milkshake, haha. Because I have to be home by 12 midnight and it like 11.30pm, I had to rush off and everyone calls me Marella. hah.

By The Way, I bought another fish, Orangeshoulder Tang, and it does not look too good now, haha. It looks all stress out, I'm quite worried.

AQWA

Hello everyone, I've already booked my flight back to Singapore in July. Most should be on July 6 Sunday, touch down in Singapore at 9.15pm. I wanted to book the flight on the 5th, but I was too late, all seats have been taken; so I'm on the waiting list. haha. but no worries.

Anyway today I went to AQWA (Aquarium of Western Australia) at Hillarys Boat Harbor. Ya it was really fun. Saw Seals, huge Sharks & Rays, Eels, Sea Dragons and lots of Fishes and colorful Corals. I really liked the touch pool. I touched Star Fish, Rays and Port Jackson Shark. But it was rather crowed today, In total 3 schools visited AQWA. Apparently they used to have Dolphins inside the boat harbor, but some one poisoned them and they all died, SAD. Well it wasn't easy to take pictures of fast moving fishes, haha, so some pictures may be blur. sorry. The best picture I felt was the Cuttlefish. The last time I went to AQWA was like 7-10 years back, really long ago. But now it has changed a lot. I remember long time ago, I threw a Star Fish back in to the water, and I got scolded by the staff. haha.

After AQWA we had to go back for Rodents class, haha. everyone was so tired. I bought a packet of pretzels and ate in class while the teacher was teaching, she didn't care. Maybe its because the whole class was doing it. haha. And after Rodents class I had Rodents handling practice with smelly rats and mice.

ITS SCHOOL HOLIDAYS NOW!

What A Week

This week has really been super tiring, fun, exciting and scary. First things first, I GOT 2 CLOWN FISH on Saturday, yayaya. After bugging my dad to let me keep marine fish for so long; and finally I have. But with every good thing there will be something bad. The fish looked really sick with 24 hours after I bought them, lying on its side on the water surface, tired. So like any other, I panic. haha. I tried my best to help the fish stay alive, I turned of the filter, quickly called my dad, placed a air stone in the tank and the most importen thing, PRAY, my mom prayed in Singapore for the fishes too. haha. And I monitored the fish till 1.30am. You must be thinking, they are just fishes and that I hate fish. Well this are A$60 fishes, not cheap! And they are cute. But the next morning GOD answered my prayer, when I woke up, they looked fine and healthy. I was really relived, but I will still monitor their condition.

Next, it had been raining quite a lot the pass few days, Monday; whole day, Tuesday morning and Saturday morning till afternoon. So what do I do during those days, haha sleep and snacking. On Clements birthday, I decided to buy some cakes cookies and potato chips, to celebrate. haha I ate the everything within 2 days. And now I really need to go to the gym. haha.

On Friday, I brought my Japanese friend who is leaving with me to OCF. His a non Christian so he hates sermons and worship. But because last Friday was a games day; so we had no sermons and worship. So he said ok. Really exciting. He made lots of friends and enjoyed the games, and I asked if he would like to come every Friday? He said maybe. I'm hoping he will come.

The best day of the week. After church today, we went to Grandma's and Grandpa's house for lunch. They are really sweet old couple in their 80s, who organizes lunch for international students every 1st Sunday of the month. And when they see you, they will give you a nice big Aussie hug. But anyway. This is the best day because, I SAW WILD DOLPHINS! We were at the carpark downstairs Grandma's house waiting for another friend, when Lemuel spotted fins popping out of the water. At first we could not see them, but if you look really carefully you can see them. They were swimming all the way at the other side of the river, but it was really cool, there were 2 of them, just swimming happily. We stand there for 5 mins before they disappeared into the murky waters of the Swan River. After 2 months + in Perth, I finally seen the dolphins. And it is the first time I saw wild dolphins. From than on I became really high, and crazy. You know me, after seeing something really exciting. hahahaha, whoo. But because it was so unexpected, I had no camera with me. Sorry no pictures.

Yup, thats about all, for this week. On Wednesday I'll be going down to AQWA, Aquarium of Western Australia. Can't wait. haha. Well God bless everyone.
