Its Time To Save The Whales Again

Horrible is what I can only say. People are killing GOD's wonderful creating, those cute, playful, joyful dolphins and whales. They are being slaughtered again in the annual dolphins massacre in Taiji Japan. Every year from October to April, 20,000 dolphins will die in this massacre at Taiji cove. Fisherman will use poles and hit them together to frighten the dolphins and chase them into the cove and trap them. The dolphins are than slaughtered in the cove, fisherman's will slice the throat of the dolphins and leave it there to die in pain. What a horrible way to die. The cove will soon be filled with blood and the bodies of the dead dolphins.

Hayden Panettiere the actress from Heroes, the cheerleader, is the spokesperson for Save The Whales Again. She went out to Taiji cove with their surf board last October with a group of friends to try and save the dolphins. But the fisherman's used their paddles and started hitting them on the surf board and the police came. They could not keep the dolphins alive. The dolphins were soon slaughtered.

Its not only Japan who is doing the killing, so is Norway and Iceland.Norway killed 500 minke whales last year, but this year they are planning to kill 1500 minke whales. Iceland will kill 39 minke whales and 2 endangered fin whales. When The Buying Stop The Killing Can Too.

Went hiking at John Forrest National Park on Good Friday with some of my church friends after the morning service. It took us 45mins to get to the park which was supper big. It was famous for the water fall and a cold dark abandon train tunnel. We had to bring flash lights because it was really dark, and when you picked up the rocks in the cave and hit them together you can see sparks. I tried but I failed. haha. Coming out of the cool dark cave into the hot burning Aussie sun and continued to hike up to the water fall took 1 1/2 hours. And me and my big mouth. I said imagine we hiked all the way up and the water fall is not running. hahaha. It really was not running. It was so hot during summer that the water fall was totally dried up. hahaha. What a disappointment. So we just hiked back down to the car park and went to our friends house for a nice cold glass of water. Refreshing.

AND ON EASTER SUNDAY

We went to Cottesloe Beach after Easter service. At first we only thought of going for lunch and watch a DVD at someones house. But the weather was so hot that we just decided to go to the beach. The water at the beach was blue and the sand was soft and fine. Place a picnic mat on the sand, put on sun block and dash into the Indian Ocean. The waves were 2 meters high with small schools of fishes swimming at the bottom. We did body surfing, its not really surfing; but when the waves come, you swim as fast as you can towards the shore and let the waves carry you back. Like a slide. Its so much fun, but I drank lots of sea water; not good. haha. We played sand ball too. Pick up the wet sand and make them into a ball shape, and threw them at each other. haha , hurts a little. But after swimming we went to buy a big tub of ICE CREAM. yum, and we finished it all. haha. Cottesloe Beach is really fun. This week end was really fun. I'll post pictures when I get them from my friend, I didn't bring my camera :(

Woke up to a chilling 10 degree Celsius today, my alarm clock ringed and ringed but I was nice and warm tucked under my blanket. Didn't want to wake up and go to school, thought to myself... 5 more minutes. haha. But I finally woke up, brushed my teeth and ate coco cereal, packed my bag and changed for school. When I opened the door and stepped out, it was really cool and cold, especially when the wind is blowing. Didn't bring my sweater out because I was lazy and in the afternoon will be hot again. Had bird lesson today, feeding and housing requirements. Half way teaching there was an surgery going on next door, and it stink the whole animal center up; everyone could not stand it so teacher gave us a break. I guess teacher also couldn't stand it. haha. But some girl sprayed air freshener in the class and teacher was a little allergic to that haha. She kept rubbing her nose till it was red. Had lunch in school today, had a nice serving of hot cottage pie with chips. Good for a cool weather. But the indoor cafe was full so we had to sit outside, which made my cottage pie cold :( But still delicious :p

Went for OCF in the night, it was my first night going. Its quite enjoyable, we're just starting bible study on the book of Mark. There was a mini ice breaker followed by worship and than broke up to smaller groups for the bible study. There are lots of Singaporeans there. Made more friends today too. But it ended quite late so someone had to drive me home. haha

Learning driving

On Saturday my cousin, Nerissa and I went out. We went dinner at Nandos, some chicken outlet like Macdonald; they serve good spicy chicken. Then we went to catch a movie (Meet the Spartans), my gosh it so lame and short. haha. And because it is still daylight saving here, and it was still early, we thought of watching another movie 10,000 BC, but it was at 9.30pm and it was only 8pm. And we had nothing else to do, all the shops are closed. So we just went to Kings Park to look at the city view and hope that there will be fireworks haha. ( Kings Park is a big park at the top of a hill.) And whoo, there were lots of limos there; I counted 6 parked along the roads. But still there was nothing else to do, so we decided to just drive around the city, while driving around my cousin asked of I wanted to try to driving; my eyes lighted up. I was so happy yayaya. YES YES YES!!!

We went to a empty car park, swap sits, fasten the seat belts really tightly and off I Go. She told me to step onto the accelerator gently, but I didn't know how sensitive it was. haha the car went whoosh forward and she told me to break, so I did and the car jerked to a stop very hard. haha. We were so scared that I would crash in to the Swan River. Than she told me that the paddles are very sensitive. haha. After I got a hang of it we just drive along the car park turning left and right. Than she told me to drive out of the car park to a small road. haha I was so scared, people walking across the road, cars driving behind you. Than I was thinking, what happens if I would accidentally bang onto someone. haha. But guess what I didn't, I made it to the next car park. So I just kept driving up and down from car park to car park. haha. So exciting and fun :) :) :)
Can't wait to drive this Saturday again. Thanks Nerissa for teaching. haha

Im feeling quite board at HOME

Haha, there is nothing to do over in the new house, just stay in my room and sleep, read peoples blog, or zoo tycoon. a little sian. I really want to keep a pet here to kill my bordness away, so the other day I was talking to Clement on line and I kept showing him pictures of reptiles that I wanted and if its nice; by the way I want to keep a reptile or frog. haha. Poor Clement had to sit and listen to all my animal lectures. haha thanks for listening. I went to ask the home stay if I could keep a pet in my room, and the father said YES!!! haha yaya, so happy!!! than the mother came and said NO NO NO.... nooooo why why. heart break. Why because she is scared of every animals, no rabbits, hamsters, birds, lizards ect ect... only FISH; because they can't jump out and attack us :( my gosh why must it be fish. So no pets to kill my bordness. And now I won't have school on Mondays, Thursdays and sometimes Fridays. And she said Stay At Home. please. come on. I need a car!!

Anyway I should not complain so much. See what God has for me in my free, very free time.

Yesterday I went out to buy some thing to eat and drink this week. This house has no goodies, all so plain. I bought a mug, colgate, cheese ritz crackers, chocolate cakes and raspberry cordial. The cordial is quite nice to drink. But I made a bad choice on going after school, had to carry so many things and the bags were breaking and the bus was cram. haha.
I had nothing to do so I took random shots of my room and my cute JYMBO!!









Today I went on a field trip to Armadale Reptile Center, but before that I had a Fish filtration test, but I'll talk about that later. I took the teachers car with 4 other friends, because we didn't know how to go up. We were all squashed into this tiny hot car, and sat there for 1 hour to get to the center. But the ride was worth it. The center was filled with amazing reptiles, lizards, frog, snakes, turtles, crocs and birds, kangaroo and wombat. We got to see snakes feeding and learned about way of handling reptiles and some facts. And we got to carry Boas and Pythons, so cool. By the end of everything, the teacher dropped us back at school. And I slept through out the whole journey, when I woke up I had a headache. haha

Test: Before we went to the center we had a fish FILTRATION test. And everyone FORGOT until the teacher reminded us. So I rushed through the book in 15 mins before the class started and went in to sit the test. By cricky it was difficult, all the weird names and so. I'm hoping that I wont fail. But there is a retest for failures. Hope I wont have to take that. haha.

Friday, the day we all love. Had to do animal roster on Friday, got to feed the Tawny Frogmouth; a bird related to the owl. I gave it pinkies to eat, and I think it loved it. I walked the Grey Hounds too. They are just so cute and skinny, and they keep pouncing all over the place. Had a bird breed quiz that day too, teacher showed us pictures of birds and we had to write down the name of the bird; and I got 22 1/2 upon 25. Pass..... This course is getting really interesting. And something amazing happened on Friday. Its the first time I have completed reading a entire book. isn't that amazing. It took me 1 month to read 184 pages. The book was GOD's MAN OF INFLUENCE Living A Life Of Lasting Impact by Jim George. Its a great book about the ministry of Apostle Paul.

Saturday, woke up late, had a good night sleep. Went to cut my hair with my cousin at some Singaporean hair dresser, she keeps talking chinese to me and I didn't understand what she was saying; but I don't really like my new hair cut. Went home after the cut and took a 4 hour nap, than went for dinner at my cousin house; she cooked pasta. such a fun night, talking to our family on web cam when she screamed. There was this huge spider on her floor, the size of you palm; it was a Huntsman spider. Non deadly but scary. We took a fishing rod and flicked it outside the house, and while doing that the door slammed and broke the fishing rod. But that spider was BIG, really scared my cousin. haha

Sunday, went to church in the morning but all my friends went there, they went for camp. But I got to meet Singaporean family, its great to talk to them. They are so kind. Walked home after church. Ate lunch and sleep again. Than I woke up and decided to look at WA driving license, and guess what I can start to learn driving. So I did, I took a mock test online and I pass; some of the questions were give away. But I can only take my practical after my Birthday. So exciting. I'll be easy to get around in Perth if I had a car. But concentrate on my studies first. haha
